Welcome to the Standish Fire/EMS official web site. We have over 85 active members that include administrative staff, public safety dispatchers, daytime staff, auxillary, and firefighter/EMT’s. Standish Fire/EMS is composed of 3 stations.

Central Station houses Rescue 1, Rescue 2, Tower 1, Engine 1, Utility 5, Marine 6, Squad 6 and Traffic 8.

The primary rescue is staffed during the day with a Firefighter Paramedic and a Firefighter EMT.

Three college live-in students are also located at Central Station.

The Steep Falls Station houses Engine 3, Tank 3, Forestry 3 and the reserve pumper Engine 5.

The North Gorham Station is our shared station with Gorham. It houses Standish Engine 4, Gorham Tank 2 and Marine 4.

Standish Fire/EMS protects an area of 68 square miles and responded to 1,621 calls for services in 2007.
